Install LinuxMCE 12.04 - Netinstall

Prerequire: installed a clean Kubuntu 12.04

Download install script and set permissions

cd /root/
wget http://svn.linuxmce.org/svn/trunk/src/new-installer/mce-install.sh
chmod +x ./mce-install.sh

Run installer

./mce-install.sh

Tested and working

• Diskless_CreateTBZ.sh works. (issues with TARGET_TYPES=“raspbian-armhf”)
• AirPlay audio works (AirTunes??)
• Media
  • audio
  • video
  • pictures

Required for testing

• Asterisk - Setup a phone line and phone to ring Orbiters and such
• USB-UIRT - Control my TV and sound system
• IP Camera - Setup IP Camera
• VDR - Setup and TEST
