Install LinuxMCE 12.04 - Netinstall
Prerequire: installed a clean Kubuntu 12.04
Download install script and set permissions
sudo -i nano -w /etc/hosts
add: 87.239.186.102 download.linuxmce.org
cd /root/ wget http://svn.linuxmce.org/svn/trunk/src/new-installer/mce-install.sh chmod +x ./mce-install.sh
Run installer
./mce-install.sh
In case the script fails, just re-run it … for some reason the first run failed.
Tested and working
- Diskless_CreateTBZ.sh works …
- AirPlay audio works (AirTunes??)
Required for testing
- Asterisk - Setup a phone line and phone to ring Orbiters and such
- USB-UIRT - Control my TV and sound system
- IP Camera - Setup IP Camera
- VDR - Setup and TEST
